Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour (Pay determined by experience)
Job Description:
Join our compassionate team at Bethany Village in Mechanicsburg as a CNA or HHA! You’ll play an integral role in providing personal care and daily living support for residents, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Work with a professional nursing team to carry out delegated tasks and make a difference in the lives of those in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, nail and oral care, and skin hygiene
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, reporting any changes
- Perform tasks such as blood glucose monitoring, documenting intake/output, and collecting specimens
- Administer non-medicated enemas and provide non-sterile wound care
- Ensure infection control measures are followed, including PPE usage and hand hygiene
- Transport patients and equipment within the facility when necessary
Requirements:
- CNA or HHA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance if applicable
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Prior experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred
