Hero Practice Services is seeking an Assistant Manager, Dental to achieve patient and organizational goals by effectively managing front office processes and assisting with human resource functions within a pediatric dental practice.

The Opportunity


 


This role has the unique opportunity to support the Heroes who actively serve the children and young people in our communities by improving their overall health and well-being.    


 


You will be responsible for the following


 



  • Understand, monitor, and ensure the smooth execution of office processes, including but not limited to, managing employee files, verifying insurance benefits, overseeing timesheets and submitting payroll, and supervising front desk staff.  

  • Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for our patients and their families 

  • Ensure smooth patient flow while multitasking and taking the initiative 

  • Work collaboratively with the Hero Practice Support Center team to implement new programs and initiatives and provide feedback and ideas on improvement areas

  • Provide Behavior Management using guidelines approved by American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.   

  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment.

  • Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook). 


 


You will be required to possess the following


 



  • High school diploma or GED with availability to work weekends 

  • At least one year of administrative experience, previous experience in dental practice is a plus

  • Identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner; use reason even when dealing with emotional topics

  • Preferred knowledge of ECW/Dolphin Database, Payroll, Intero Order processing systems, Google Docs, Document Portal Spreadsheet software, and must be proficient at using Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.

  • Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry.
