Are you passionate about dentistry and eager to start a rewarding career in healthcare? Our Dental Assistant Traineeship Program provides an excellent opportunity to kickstart your journey in the world of dental healthcare while making a positive impact on our community.


This Role will be located in our Sydney CBD, Bondi and Brookvale.


Program/ role overview



  • Duration: Our comprehensive traineeship program spans 12 months, during which you will receive hands-on training and valuable industry insights.

  • Paid Learning: We understand that learning is a two-way street, and that's why we offer a competitive salary to our trainees throughout the program.

  • Skill Development: You will work closely with Dentists, Hygienists and experienced Dental Assistants. You will have responsibilities in instrument sterilization, maintaining a clean and healthy clinical environment and preparing rooms for treatment.  Other tasks will include patient care management such as greeting and meeting patients, making follow up appointments and entering patient details into records. 

  • Classroom Training: Alongside practical training, you will attend informative classroom sessions to expand your theoretical knowledge of dental healthcare. This is provided through TAFE. Course fees are fully covered by HCF.

  • Certification: Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a recognized certification, enhancing your employability in the dental field.


About you 


We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude, initiative and the ability to think ahead to provide seamless support to our Dental teams. To be successful you will have: 



  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

  • Ability to quickly build rapport with patients.   

  • Highly developed skills in time management, attention to detail and prioritization 

  • A desire to learn and passion in the healthcare industry. 

  • Ability to work in a structured and team environment. 

  • Ability to complete the requirements of Cert III in Dental Assisting
