Dental Hygienist
Mission Box SolutionsOur client is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join their team and provide exceptional dental care. This role focuses on patient education, conducting thorough screenings, and delivering high-quality dental services in accordance with established protocols.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome all assigned patients.
Conduct comprehensive medical and dental histories for patients, including necessary coordination with external physicians.
Perform detailed intra-oral and extra-oral examinations.
Take and interpret dental radiographs as needed.
Deliver prophylaxis cleaning, polishing, and root scaling and planing for periodontal disease.
Educate patients on periodontal disease and other relevant dental health topics.
Collaborate closely with treating dentists and refer patients to specialists as appropriate.
Accurately document all patient interactions and procedures in their records.
Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms between patient visits.
Perform lab tasks as assigned by the clinical manager or dentist.
Follow all established safety protocols.
Support administrative tasks, including answering phones and scheduling appointments, as needed.
Assist in managing patient flow during emergencies or unexpected schedule changes.
Ensure the security and confidentiality of the Dental Center.
Must Haves:
Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited school.
Valid Massachusetts Dental Hygienist license.
Current CPR certification.
Proficiency in Dentrix and other required dental software.
Attendance at continuing education meetings as scheduled by the Dental Center.

Location: Great Barrington, Massachusetts
Salary: $89,440 to $100,000
