Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to;

• Sound level of occupational therapy assessment and treatment skills, aligned to the needs and wants of our clients
  
• Planning and directing programs through the use of vocational, recreational, remedial, social and educational activities on an individual and group basis
  
• Providing advice to family members, carers, employers and teachers about adapting clients’ home, leisure, work and school environments
  
• Providing adaptive equipment, such as wheel chairs and splints, to assist clients to overcome their functional limitations
  
• Contributing positively to multi-disciplinary care planning for our clients
  
• Demonstrated experience in person-centred practice, service continuous improvement, evidence-based treatment and service delivery.
  
• Recording clients’ progress and maintaining professional relationships in accordance with relevant legislative requirements and ethical guidelines
  
• Case conferencing and problem-solving of complex care needs
  
• Supporting clients on proactive, evidence-based reablement pathways and the capacity to identify deviation from this pathway early.
  
• Willingness to mentor students and to increase your personal skill set
  

Requirements

1. A bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy
   
2. Limited registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or intent to be registered with AHPRA
   
3. at least 3 years' relevant experience with an understanding of clinical practices
   
4. Valid Driver’s License
   
5. IELTS 7 score in all components
   
6. Evidence of COVID Vaccinations
