Front Desk Medical Receptionist

We are a podiatrist office looking to hire a Front Desk who is a highly skilled multitasker performing all job functions as required in support of a busy practice supporting 3 providers. Possess the drive and ability to participate in providing high quality health care to our valued patients. May be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting physicians with patient care and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services. 

Essential Functions:

• Serve as the first point of contact: greet patients warmly, answer phone calls, and direct queries efficiently.


• Manage appointment schedules: book, confirm, and reschedule as necessary.


• Maintain patient flow, ensuring a seamless experience for every individual.


• Enter and update patient information, including insurance and demographics.


• Verify insurance details and process related documentation.


• Handle financial transactions: collect copays, deductibles, and manage billing queries.
  


• Will be cross trained on some medical assisting duties.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Occasional travel to our second office in Twin Valley


• Familiarity with EHR and medical terminology required


• High school diploma or equivalent


• 2+ years of experience working as a medical assistant


• Friendly and compassionate disposition


• Excellent organizational and time management skills


• Strong interpersonal communication skills


• Ability to work independently or as part of a team


• Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient records
