  • A registered nurse with advanced education and training in the care of at-risk and high-risk neonates. Under the direction of a physician manages neonatal patients using collaboration, consultation, and direct care. The NNP is involved with education of nursing staff, residents, and student.
  • This positon is assigned NNP coordination and operation responsibilities i.e. NNP schedule, NNP meeting coordination, NNP representation at unit level/ house wide meetings as appropriate.
  • Function as a clinical/administrative liaison for NNP team and NICU leadership.
  • Education required: Master’s Degree in Nursing-Graduated from an accredited NNP program
  • Maintains credentials with procedural privileges through medical staff office
  • Maintains Neonatal NCC certification
  • Participates and coordinates research/education/ new product activities within the NICU
  • NRP and Stable instructor within 6 months of hire
