MED-ACT is Johnson County’s 9-1-1 EMS and ambulance service provider, serving the entire county and its cities, towns, and unincorporated areas. We have cohesive partnerships with fire departments throughout the county and within the EMS system. We are currently seeking dedicated and highly skilled Paramedics to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Paramedic at Johnson County MED-ACT, you will play a critical role in delivering life-saving care to our community members during their most challenging moments. You will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing advanced medical treatment, and ensuring the safe transportation of patients to medical facilities.

Currently accepting applications until November 5th, 2024 , to be considered for our next Clinician Academy start date of January 21st, 2025. Applicants must be KS licensed by the end of the new-hire academy. If not licensed prior to January 17th, 2025, candidates must provide proof of application to the Kansas Board of EMS along with a valid out of state license and/or National Registry certification.
