Job Summary: As a Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues in infants, children, and adolescents. You will educate patients and their parents on proper dental care and hygiene, helping to establish a foundation for lifelong oral health. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose dental conditions in pediatric patients.

  • Perform routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, and sealants.
  • Administer local anesthesia and sedation as necessary, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
  • Educate patients and their parents on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
  • Address dental emergencies and provide timely and effective treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in pediatric dentistry and continue professional development.
  • Collaborate with other dental and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Valid dental license to practice in the state of Alabama.
  • Strong understanding of the unique dental needs and behaviors of children.
