Pediatric Nurse

Job Summary

Community Clinic is seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse for our Springdale Clinic which provides quality, comprehensive primary health care. A current Arkansas nursing license is required. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Maintains patient flow during clinic so as to assure prompt service for patients.
• Obtains vital signs, measurements and laboratory tests accurately, as per protocol.
• Obtains chief complaint and reason for visit using excellent listening skills.
• Administers treatments and medications proficiently and safely.
• Maintains exam room supplies and cleanliness for optimal efficiency.
• Refers patients as appropriate, interacting with referral sources in a professional and cordial manner.
• Triages unscheduled patients, telephone calls and other patient concerns using triage protocols and professional judgment as well as a warmth and concern for the patient’s wellbeing. Documents all patient interactions completely and promptly in the medical record.
• Refers patients to other providers as requested by clinicians; completes forms, maintains records of referral and follow-up of results and recommendations. Appropriately documents referral interactions in the medical record.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Arkansas (LPN or RN)
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
