• Location : Correctional Facility in Crescent City, California
• Pay Rate $58.50 Per Hour
• Schedule : 6 to 9 months Full Time Contract Eligible for extension
• Mon - Fri  08:00am  - 04:30pm

Requirements: Pharmacist

• New Graduates are Accepted
• Valid Photo ID Driver’s License or Passport (Required)
• Valid California Pharmacy license Hard Copy (Required)

Duties/Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to: Pharmacist

• Review and verify prescription/medication order(s) from the Pharmacist-in Charge, CEO/CME, or other authorized correctional facility prescribers for completeness, correctness, authenticity and legality
• Assess prescription/medication order(s) against patient's/youth's medical profile for improper drug selection, under-dosage, dosage, over-dosage, drug interactions, dosage for mand delivery system;
• Manage or directly fill prescription/medication orders and prepare or check l.V.Ad mixtures as required;
• Provide consultations to Facility medical staff and the Medical Authorization Review Committee and provide discharge consultations as required;
• Monitor and instruct Pharmacy Technicians in standard and routine phases of the work, as appropriate; and
• Perform other duties as assigned.
