Kennebec Pharmacy and Home Care is your local pharmacy and home medical equipment provider dedicated to making better living possible. You can look to us for: prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, compounded medications, specialty medications, durable medical equipment, complex rehabilitation equipment, home infusion therapy, respiratory therapy, men's and women's health services, and more. We are currently looking to hire a pharmacist to work with our Home Infusion Team.

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday; 8am to 5pm with “On-Call” rotation. 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team, specializing in home infusion and compounding pharmacy operations. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, drugs, and compounded sterile products (CSP) while providing clinical consultation and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinate patient admissions with the healthcare team, including physicians, pharmacists, home health agencies, and case managers.
• Provides clinical consultation for I.V. therapies, dosage calculations, nutritional support, pharmacokinetics, and drug information as needed.
• Oversees staff and assist customers with medication selection, equipment, and supplies in person and by telephone. 
• Ensure patient confidentiality and rights are upheld.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree
• Current Maine Registered Pharmacist License
