The Physician Liaison plays a critical role in maintaining and strengthening our physician network to ensure timely, high-quality care for our patients. Reporting to the Chief Experience Officer, this individual is responsible for identifying and resolving physician participation barriers, maintaining ongoing communication with providers, and supporting case managers with physician access and logistics. This role also includes providing education on the EEOICPA program, assisting with Department of Labor (DOL) inquiries, and coordinating traveling physician logistics to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
Network Review & Management: Routinely review physician participation using Axxess. Identify any roadblocks and take appropriate next steps (e.g., education, support tools, relationship-building).
Barrier Resolution: Follow an established framework to address issues such as billing concerns, administrative burden, EEOICPA knowledge gaps, or service area limitations.
Physician Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and their offices, providing timely communication, education, and support.
Dashboard Monitoring: Maintain and monitor a real-time dashboard that tracks active physician participation, emerging shortages, and future needs.
Case Manager Support: Serve as a go-to resource for case managers seeking physicians for specific patient needs or geographic areas.
DOL & EEOICPA Support: Provide EEOICPA education and respond to DOL-related inquiries from providers, ensuring they have the tools and information needed to participate.
Travel Physician Logistics: Coordinate logistics and schedules for traveling physicians. Confirm that case managers submit LMNs and POCs at least one week prior to visits.
Continuous Monitoring: Keep the physician database current and actively manage outreach and follow-up tasks as needed.

Work Environment: Ability to focus at a computer for extended periods, with regular activities including standing, sitting, and using hands for computer tasks. Travel required.
