This position will provide services in a traditional clinic and non-traditional community setting, responsible for administrative and clinical supervision to psychiatrists and other physicians, physician Assistants (PAs), and nurse practitioners (NPs). Provides subject matter expertise in the development of policy and procedure. Provides thorough and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Provides consultation, supervision, and collaboration with non-medical/medical staff, detailed clinical documentation. Reviews co-morbid medical illnesses, review/order laboratory tests; crises intervention. May provide assessment and psychiatric care of clients who have a wide range of psychiatric disorders that may be co-occurring with substance use disorders, physical illness, and/or intellectual disabilities. Integral member of multidisciplinary treatment teams. Provides expert consultation and guidance regarding diagnosis and treatment planning. Duties will include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, medication management, family meetings and crisis intervention when needed. Documents all clinical information into an electronic health record with e-prescribing. Adheres to and complies with all relevant local, state, federal and regulatory standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited school of medicine with possession of a medical degree; PLUS, successful completion of an accredited psychiatric residency program; plus, five years of Psychiatrist experience, including two years of managerial experience in a medical environment, and one year of supervisory experience.
