Position Overview:
Focus Clinic is seeking a Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) with expertise in ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and neurodevelopmental assessments to join our multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for a psychologist passionate about working with children and adolescents, conducting comprehensive evaluations, and overseeing innovative therapeutic programs. In addition to providing assessments, you will oversee our executive coaching, neurofeedback, and computer-based cognitive therapy programs, ensuring evidence-based interventions tailored to each child’s unique needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess ADHD, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), learning disabilities, emotional regulation, and behavioral concerns.
  • Develop individualized treatment recommendations and collaborate with providers to guide intervention plans.
  • Oversee and refine the clinic’s executive coaching, neurofeedback, and computer-based cognitive therapy programs, ensuring best practices and clinical effectiveness.
  • Provide feedback sessions to parents and caregivers, offering clear explanations of results and recommendations for school and home interventions.
  • Support families in navigating school accommodations, including 504 plans and IEP advocacy.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate AI-assisted documentation.
  • Stay informed on emerging research, best practices, and technological advancements in pediatric psychology and neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Contribute to the clinic’s mission-driven, faith-based environment, providing compassionate and unparalleled care.

 

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active Michigan license (or eligibility for licensure) in good standing.
  • Expertise in ADHD and autism spectrum disorders.
  • Strong background in neurodevelopmental assessments, executive functioning interventions, and behavioral therapy approaches.
  • Prior experience with neurofeedback, executive coaching, or cognitive therapy programs is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with children and families in a compassionate and supportive manner.
  • Proficiency in technology-driven assessments and electronic documentation.
  • Passion for collaborative, team-based care in a dynamic and patient-centered setting.
