Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Regional Lead Psychologist to join our team and provide psychotherapy services at our partner facilities. Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties (on-site): 

  • Assess and diagnose patients, formulating evidence-based treatment plans 
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of services provided by psychotherapists
  • Be available for crisis consultation 
  • Collaborate with other specialists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care 
  • Exhibit expertise in the clinical assessment and treatment of patients 
  • Perform guardianship and capacity evaluations when appropriate
  • Integrate with multidisciplinary team to deliver care that meets the unique needs of patients in facilities, especially those with co-morbidities and frailty 
  • Provide patient, family, and staff education when necessary 
  • Provide backup and interim coverage for facilities in the region when needed

 
Training & Development (primarily remote):

  • Assist with onboarding new psychotherapists and prescribers, ensuring they're well-equipped with the necessary tools and resources 
  • Assist administrative team in coordinating shadowing and other clinical and facility orientations for new hires 
  • Offer coaching and consultations for psychotherapists and prescribers facing clinical challenges 
  • Act as a mentor and a resource for psychotherapists 
  • Offer clinical direction, ensuring efficient workflow and staffing coverage
  • Assist in researching regulations, including billing guidelines and compliance with payor requirements (e.g., CMS)
  • Assist in compliance reviews of clinical documentation

Requirements


  • Licensure as a Psychologist in the state of practice 
  • Willingness to obtain licensure with PGS support in other states if needed (strongly encouraged) 
  • Two (2) years of related clinical experience (strongly encouraged) 
  • Long-term care/nursing home experience (strongly encouraged) 
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a clinical setting 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to work remotely and effectively manage a team from a distance as well as in-person
