Speech-Language Pathologist

When you join our team, you become a part of a team of related service providers passionate about working with children and growing their careers!We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Franklin Park, IL. This full-time role is with a therapeutic school and runs from August 13th to May 23rd. You’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on a caseload of about 30 students in PreK-4th grade, many of whom have higher needs and use AAC devices. The school is vibrant and community-focused, hosting engaging events like Special Olympics, family dinners, and holiday celebrations to bring together students, families, and staff.Support we provide our clinicians: AnthroMed Education has a wonderful SLP Director of Clinical Support who offers our clinicians support throughout the school year!

Speech-Language Pathologist Duties:
- Complete evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students
- Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and classroom teachers to meet the students’ speech and/or language needs
- Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans
- Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders
Speech-Language Pathologist Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Communication Disorders
- Professional Educators License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
- Preferred experience in a K-12 setting
