We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team, providing invaluable support to schools through our staffing services. As a SLP,Β  you will work collaboratively with educators and other professionals to assess, and treat students with speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.

  • Be part of in depth team discussions around student eligibility based on the results of the evaluation and additional data and input from other team members.Β 

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to address communication challenges and to support progress towards individual student goals.Β 

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech therapy goals into the overall educational plan.

  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, using evidence-based techniques.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, assessments, and treatment plans.

  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team.

  • Stay informed about current research and trends in speech-language pathology to enhance the quality of services provided.

  • Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with students, colleagues, and parents.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Valid Arizona Department of Education licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

  • Valid Arizona Department of Health Services licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

  • ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification preferred.

  • Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable.

  • Ability to adapt to diverse educational environments and collaborate effectively with various professionals.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Reliable transportation to travel between school locations, if indicated.
