About the role:

  • Assesses students' speech-language abilities and develops treatment plans.
  • Delivers direct speech-language therapy services aligned with IEPs.
  • Develops goals and conducts assessments in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.
  • Prior knowledge of AAC modalities and implementation techniques.
  • Passion for supporting complex communicators and flexibility in your approach.
  • Willingness to collaborate and engage with all key stakeholders including colleagues, school administration, and caregivers.
  • Ensures that evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery strictly adhere to school, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Embraces additional responsibilities that contribute to our collective mission.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings is preferred.
  • A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) through ASHA.
  • A valid Maryland SLP license from the Maryland Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.
