Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialty Center in Central Point, OR is looking for an energetic, experienced, and compassionate ER doctor to join our growing team!




We are interested in speaking with experienced ER DVMs, internship trained DVMs, new or soon to graduate DVMs, or GP DVMs who have an interest in emergency medicine. ER Mentorship is available!


Our Emergency and Critical Care Department is a 24/7/365 service with a busy and varied caseload serving a 3-4 hour radius including Oregon, California, Nevada, and Idaho. We have both ER DVMS and Critical Care Specialist support for the ER and recently opened an Urgent Care to broaden our ability to serve the community. Alongside the ER and Critical Care Team, we have onsite support from Internal Medicine and Surgery Specialists. We have a highly trained and dedicated support staff of CVTs and VAs, full kennel support, and highly trained liaison services to ensure the success of our doctors and the practice as a whole.


Our hospital culture emphasizes continuous learning, growth, and innovation while maintaining an atmosphere of respect, support, and fun. We have a DVM Mentorship program for new graduates looking to hone skills in the ER in a safe, supportive environment and internal technician training program for CVT as well as VTS. We encourage high level medical training, wellness and communication coaching, and community CE events through our new Regional Training Center. In our downtime we have clinic-facilitated outdoor adventure club activities, crafting club, game nights, and more!
