A well-established partner hospital in Weatherford, TX is seeking an experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join their dynamic team. This position is ideal for a compassionate, skilled veterinarian who is eager to provide high-quality care to small animals and contribute to a collaborative, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care to small animals, including dogs, cats, and rabbits.
  • Perform routine and emergency surgeries with skill and confidence.
  • Consult with clients on their pets' health and well-being, providing guidance on treatment and preventative care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and perform diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Prepare and present surgical cases and provide post-operative care.
  • Work alongside a team of dedicated professionals in a collaborative setting.
  • Engage in continuous learning, with opportunities for mentorship and development.

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • A DVM degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas.
  • Experience in small animal medicine and surgery is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster strong client relationships.
  • A passion for animal care, learning, and contributing to the well-being of the community.
