$3,000 Sign-on and Retention Bonus for full-time Licensed Social Workers, sign-on bonus payable as $1,000 at time of hire, $1,000 at passing of probation, and $1,000 at one-year anniversary date.
The Child Center of NY is an accredited behavioral health program under NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) and NYS Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (OASAS). The therapeutic services that the master's social worker position provides will qualify for clinical hours toward most credentials such as LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC and LMFT. Clinical supervision is also provided on a consistent basis. The Master's Social Worker is responsible for providing individual and group counseling and direct service to children, teens, adults and their families. This position allows for clinical experience working with a diverse population in a bilingual setting. Services include screening and assessment, treatment planning, provision of counseling/psychotherapy and crisis intervention. The Master's Social Worker is a member of the treatment team and collaborates with other team members. As the mental health field has adapted to telehealth and remote counseling services as a treatment modality, our agency has been approved for the permanent telehealth licensure allowing our team to provide services and work in a hybrid model.

Compensation
The Child Center of NY offers competitive salaries and rewards clinicians for performance. Therapists in our clinics are eligible for a lucrative performance incentive, often ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 incentives per year in additional earnings based on individual clinician performance.

Flexibility:
The Child Center of NY has locations throughout NYC, as well as remote and hybrid options. As long as you are licensed to deliver services in New York State, there is a therapeutic role here for you. Fee-for-service per-diem employment options are also available for LCSW, LCSW-R, LMSW, and LMHC. Options also available for MSW and MHC that are looking to begin their careers and receive supervision and assistance towards licensure.

Position will eventually require for permanent licensure but not at the time of hire due to COVID delays, limited permit is required within 3 months of hire and permanent license required within 6-12 months of employment for MSWs and within reasonable time of eligible range to take exam for MHCs and MFTs).
Minimum Qualifications:
● Master’s Degree in Social Work or related counseling/therapeutic education
● Bilingual: Chinese, Spanish, and Bengali
Essential Functions:
● Provide direct psychotherapy/counseling to clients using a variety of mental health modalities and interventions in order to help them maximize their level of functioning.
● Maintain appropriate professional patient care documentation in the agency selected Electronic Health Record (EHR), including client assessment and individual notes in compliance with all city, state and federal standards of practice.
● Complete intake processes for clients
● Facilitates the client’s utilization of available support systems and community resources to meet needs identified in clinical evaluation or treatment planning.
● Meet on a weekly basis with supervisor to discuss achievement of program targets, client goals, quality of client care and reporting requirements.
● May attend case reviews and develop next steps for the families and clinicians
● Meets data metric requirements, quality of care expectations using traditional social work interventions, or evidence-based models.
● Performs other related duties as assigned.
