Clinical Pharmacist

Infusion Solutions Inc. is a specialty Home Infusion Pharmacy serving Washington state. Our clinical pharmacists use their clinical skills to make treatment recommendations and monitor patient's response to therapy via lab results, nursing assessments, and direct patient contact. In March 2021 we moved into our new state-of-the-art facility in Bellingham that was designed to enhance the comfort of our patients and staff and to accommodate our growing business! Our full time pharmacists work 4 days per week and rotate weekend and on call coverage.

Functions and Duties:

• Reviews prescriptions issued by physician to assure accuracy and determine formulas needed


• Oversees sterile compounding of IV admixtures under aseptic conditions


• Monitors client profiles to identify drug allergies, drug interactions, duplicate therapy, rational drug therapy and incompatibilities, and makes recommendations as needed


• Monitors patient's response to therapy via lab results, nursing assessments, and direct patient contact. Recommends therapy changes and communicates outcomes to prescribers as needed.


• Answers questions and provides information to physicians, clients, and other healthcare professionals on appropriate use of medication, drug interactions, side effects, dosage, storage etc.


• Provides pharmaceutical care to all ages of clients from newborns to the elderly and understands dosing variations and where to find appropriate information
