Te whiwhinga mahi: The opportunity 

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Clinical Pharmacist based in Tairawhiti. 

This is your opportunity to utilise your pharmacotherapy skills and work in a supportive and collaborative environment, working to eliminate inequities and achieving best possible health-related outcomes. You will assist patients and their health care providers in optimising medication use, reducing/preventing medication-related problems, and improving health outcomes by providing medication therapy management and other pharmaceutical care services.  

 

Work in our Extended Clinical Care teams supporting clients within the Tairawhiti locality and work closely with Māori Health Providers and other network organisations to help achieve the vision of sustainable and leading-edge primary care services incorporating a whanau centric model. 

 

He kōrero mōu: About you 

Ideally you will: 

  • Hold a current annual practising certificate (APC). 
  • Previous experience working in a clinical environment. 
  • Hold a postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or willingness to complete. 
  • Hold a valid full NZ drivers license. 
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. 
  • Experience building trusting relationships and communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Critical thinking and ability to evaluate and research material. 
  • Excellent time management skills and managing a busy workload. 
  • Committed to continuing professional and personal development.
