Position Title: Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (Female) - Abu Dhabi
Allocation Assist Middle East is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (Female) to join our team in Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents with a variety of mental health conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans that utilize evidence-based approaches and are tailored to the individual needs of each patient
- Collaborate closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and therapists
- Conduct therapy sessions with patients and their families, utilizing a variety of modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Provide consultation and education to parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the care of the patient
- Actively participate in departmental meetings and case conferences to provide expert input and support to colleagues
- Stay current with developments in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry through attending conferences, workshops, and engaging in professional development opportunities
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Psychiatry with a subspecialty in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist
- Demonstrated expertise in child and adolescent psychiatric evaluations and treatment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and patients' families
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to develop individualized treatment plans
- Must be Western -trained
