Position: Full-Time Dental Assistant/EDDA
Location: Nicholasville, KY
Starting Pay: $17-$18 per hour (based on experience and certifications)

The office of Rebecca T. Wheeler, DMD, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant/EDDA to join our team at our Pediatric Dentistry office. We pride ourselves on providing a supportive and friendly work environment.

A Day In the Life Of

  • Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for patient exams
  • Assisting the dentist during procedures
  • Taking and processing X-rays of patients
  • Processing lab work for the dentist
  • Advising patients on recommended oral hygiene
  • Updating and maintaining dental records

What You'll Bring To The Table

Ideal Candidate:

  • Upbeat, team player, eager to learn, motivated, dependable, and super friendly
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced dental office environment
  • X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
  • EDDA Certification (Preferred)
  • Coronal Polishing (Desired but not required)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills
  • Proven experience as a dental assistant
  • Additional certification or training is an asset
