Smiling from Open to Close

Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:30pm or 8am-5pm

Occasionally one evening until 7 pm may be required or 1-2 Saturdays a month from 8-3 pm

Responsibilities

Dental Assistant partners with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support to help patients get the care they need. Dental Assistant will help prepare the patient for treatment and assist the dentist in restorative dentistry. 

 

Skills Required to Make a Great “Impression” on Our Team

  • Provides excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists which includes but is not limited to: charting, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
  • Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
  • Reviews the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
  • Prepares patients, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, maintains chain of asepsis, prepares materials, and assists dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
  • Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs.
  • Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements to include compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.

Qualifications

So How Can You “Fill” This Role?

  • Dental Assisting Certification or prior on the job training
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
  • Radiography/ X-RAY certification for respective state
  • CPR Certification required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patient.
