This is a safety sensitive position. Performs those duties of dental hygiene, record keeping, patient recall, and health education in the care and treatment of patients.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
Possess valid state license to practice dental hygiene
Previous dental hygiene experience desired, but not required
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to communicate in English
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff. Possesses skill and ability to motivate patients
Prepares and maintains charts, records, logs, and reports
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides preventive clinical services.
Responsible for the preparation and setting up of instruments.
Daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and monitoring of equipment.
Provides oral health education for sealant project.
Follows all OSHA Standards and institutional policies as stated in Regulatory Compliance Manual and Health Center Policy and Procedure Manual
Radiology Services.
Assists dental manager with clerical tasks as time permits.
