We are looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our exceptional team!

Position Summary:

The Registered Dental Hygienist provides ongoing preventive oral care through conventional periodontal therapy, non-surgical periodontal therapy to prevent periodontal gum disease.

Your contribution to the team includes:

Perform clinical hygiene functions including, but not limited to: exposing/evaluating x-rays, oral cancer screening, prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, fluoride treatments
Educates patients on the importance of preventive care, the disease process and the role of bacteria, provides appropriate instructions on home care
Maintain accurate complete digital documentation
Sterilizes dental instruments properly
Maintains patient confidentiality and takes every precaution to secure electronic Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA.
Other related duties as assigned.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Professional and friendly with great chair side manner
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and changes.
Knowledge of cross contamination and how to prevent it.
Maintain continuing education courses.


Education/ Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene


Special Requirements/ Certifications/ Licenses

CPR and First Aid certificate
Registered Dental Hygienist License
Licenses required for this position must be kept current, valid, and in good standing with the presiding entity
