A well-established and rapidly growing veterinary group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Regional Support Veterinarian to join their dynamic team. This full-time, clinical, salaried role offers an excellent opportunity to work across multiple hospital locations in the Raleigh, NC area. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical veterinary care and leadership during shifts at various practice locations.
  • Adapt to different practice settings, fostering collaboration with teams to optimize patient care.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with hospital teams, helping them grow through mentorship and guidance.
  • Modify treatment plans based on each hospital's specific needs and patient population.
  • Promote a positive, resilient, and solutions-oriented attitude across the team.
  • Travel locally to different hospitals within the Raleigh region on a weekly basis.

 

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

  • A DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • A current veterinary license in good standing, or the ability to obtain one, in the states where practices are located.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on mentoring and developing veterinary staff.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, make sound decisions, and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • High organizational and time-management skills.
  • A positive, professional demeanor when representing the organization and its values.
