This role is a leadership position, overseeing the medical team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients, while contributing to the overall success of practice operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure the practice’s medical operations run smoothly
• Work alongside the Practice Manager to assist with staffing, scheduling, and achieving operational goals
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the practice team and the local community
• Support the growth and development of support staff through the internal LevelUp clinical training program
• Manage a diverse caseload that includes surgeries, diagnostics, and routine appointments
• Oversee the medical care of all patients, ensuring high standards of veterinary practice
• Serve as the veterinarian of record for all required hospital permits and licenses
• Partner with hospital leadership to maintain medical quality and ensure effective communication with clients

Qualifications:

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state, or ability to obtain a license in that state
