Middle School Psychologist

EXAR Healthcare Staffing Agency is seeking a School Psychologist to support middle school students in California. The ideal candidate will provide psychological assessments, intervention plans, and mental health support to ensure student success. This role involves working closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns.
• Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success and well-being.
• Assist in crisis intervention and provide conflict resolution strategies.
• Maintain detailed and confidential student records, reports, and progress documentation.
• Offer training and guidance to educators on topics related to mental health, learning disabilities, and behavior management.
• Stay updated on best practices and legal requirements in school psychology.

• California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology.
• Experience working with middle school students is advantage.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
