The Mobile Dental Hygienist’s (RDH) main purpose is to deliver appropriate patient care to help aid in the patient in achieving optimal oral health while working within a care team in a collaborative team-based approach. The Mobile RDH will assist in providing direct patient care in outreach locations, manage patient treatment needs and proper case management to support continuum of care, and help to facilitate paperwork for outside resources. These hygienists may also be expected to provide in-clinic care, performing dental measures designed to preserve teeth and prevent the spread of oral disease.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This position requires an individual, with great organizational skills, who has the ability to work independently, is able to work under pressure, is analytical and has excellent problem-solving skills. The ability to respect the confidentiality of patient information while performing job duties. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and public.
