Pulmonary Medicine is a group of dedicated professionals who care for patients with various pulmonary conditions. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing practice. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will have the opportunity to work independently while collaborating with physicians to meet more complex patientsβ needs. The role will involve outpatient care, with a focus on managing patients with interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis, and inflammatory lung diseases including sarcoidosis and vasculitis. While visits will include new and established patients, majority of the practice will focus on longitudinal care of established patients. APPs are valuable members of our team, and we are committed to providing ample opportunity for participation in research, quality improvement projects, and leadership roles.

Nurse Practitioner: Masters or DNP prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current MN RN and APRN license and certification as an ANP, FNP, or ACNP.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the MN State Board of Medical Practice.
Possess ability to work independently/autonomously and collaboratively with other health care professionals. Have extensive patient assessment skills using diagnostic methods and instruments, and possess ability to develop appropriate plan of care, modifying as indicated. Possess effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with patients, families and members of health care team. Candidate must practice patient-centered evidence-based care.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
