Waterbury Health is looking for a motivated Ortho Physician Assistant to join a team of 6 experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistants within Waterbury Hospital.   We are looking for strong communication and interpersonal skills, clinical judgment, and an ability to work in a team environment. Our Physician Assistants work with considerable autonomy to cover all aspects of the Ortho service including first and second assist in the OR, inpatient and ED consults, fracture care and weekly outpatient Orthopedic clinic.

Our Orthopedic surgeons are supportive and personable and enjoy teaching.  They specialize in:

  • Joint Reconstruction of hip, knee, shoulder
  • Sports Injuries
  • Arthroscopic surgery of shoulder, hip, and knee
  • Upper Extremity injuries
  • Spine Surgery
  • Trauma and Fracture Care
