Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluations & Therapy: Conduct thorough and timely evaluations, with an expectation of billing a minimum of 23 hours a week of direct therapy service within a 40-hour workweek.
  • Documentation & Billing: Maintain accurate and timely documentation and billing according to Emerges procedural guidelines.
  • Client & Family Interaction: Develop strong relationships with clients and their families, educate them on therapy plans to ensure consistency and success, and promote carryover of treatment goals at home.
  • Collaboration & Community Engagement: Build rapport with community partners and contribute positively to the companys reputation within the local community.
  • Outcome-Oriented: Set and achieve measurable, timely goals for client progress and complete discharge summaries as needed.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience & Licensure: NC therapy licensure in good standing, with at least two years of outpatient pediatric therapy experience.
  • Additional Qualifications: Continuing education units (CEUs) and advanced courses in pediatric therapy are preferred.
