Rothman Orthopaedics is looking for a full time Physician Relations Specialist to join our team! This position is designed to cover the NJ region which includes Central NJ, South NJ and the Shore. Candidates can expect 2-3 days of travel throughout the region per week with the opportunity to work from home other days.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM with flexibility for events
Job Summary:
The Physician Relations Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with referring providers and their staff to increase patient referrals to Rothman Orthopaedics. They will communicate with referring providers via in-person and virtual meetings and host them at various events throughout the year. They will also set up a series of community lectures and medical professional educational events.
Key Accountabilities:
Meet quarterly metrics - number of physician interactions and community/referring provider events. Meet quarterly new patient target for the assigned territory. Establish new relationships in the territory with potential referral sources (i.e. YMCAβs, fitness centers, senior centers, sports facilities, etc.). Β Increase referral volume from external referral sources. Set up a series of medical professional and community educational lectures.
