Both Adult and Adolescent Psychiatrists to join the for West Pines Behavioral Health in Westminster, Colorado

 

West Pines Behavioral Health in Westminster, Colorado is 20 minutes from Denver. We are recruiting ACGME trained Psychiatrists to clinically provide psychiatric services to our new, 144-bed acute treatment center specializing in treating men and women who are experiencing behavioral or mental health crisis.

West Pines Behavioral Health is a joint venture partnership between Intermountain Health in Denver, and Acadia Healthcare, Inc. Acadia Healthcare is the largest, purely behavioral health and drug treatment services in the US. Acadia provides services to the 75,000 patients we see daily in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, specialty treatment facilities, residential treatment centers and outpatient clinics.

The range for this position is $320,000 to $360,000
*Total compensation may vary based on additional services, including call coverage, administrative services, performance bonus, etc. Compensation may also vary based on productivity after initial guarantee period.

Responsibilities






Summary:

  • Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.
  • Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
  • Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
  • Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
  • Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
  • Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.








Qualifications






Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
  • One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred.
  • Licensed in the the state in which the facility(s) operate.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Board certification in psychiatry
  • Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
