Experience



  • 2 years exp. as a Psych completing developmental/ psychoeducational assestments


Education



  • Master of Clinical Psychology


Licenses



  • Registered Master Psychologist with Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE)

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license


Memberships



  • Saskatchewan College of Psychologists


Other Education and Training



  • Master of Educational Psychology is acceptable

  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and the community at large.

  • Knowledge of community resources

  • Knowledge in differential diagnoses to support treatment of children and youth

  • Ability to provide psychological consultations to the team, community, & schools

  • Ability to work in a high stress, fast paced work environment with complex cases

  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team

  • Knowledge of crisis intervention and prevention programs

  • Knowledge in psychological assessments/testing with complex children and youth

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to assist and develop policies and procedures according to best practice

  • Ability to provide psychological services to children within an acute setting

  • Ability to work with individuals from a variety of cultural & ethnic backgrounds


Other Information



  • Supervised training in assessment, differential diagnosis of childern an asset

  • HSAS seniority in the SHA will be considered under the selection criteria
