Job Summary: This position works collaboratively with the SJCS-TN management team to provide and/or integrate optimal health care and safety into programs and activities for individuals served in compliance with licensure and other regulatory standards. The nursing process is used to train, assess, make recommendations about and evaluate care of assigned individuals.

Work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, e.g., use of safe work place practices with office equipment, and/or avoidance of trips and falls.
Home environment involves everyday risks or conditions that require normal safety precautions such as stairs, rugs, appliances etc. and requires the avoidance of trips and falls. Additionally, medical work with individuals involves knowledge of medical protocols, exposure to human behavior, and other safety precautions. Proper precautions must be taken when assessing and/or interacting with individuals served with regard to lifting, transferring, turning, positioning, administering medications, etc.
