Provide quality treatment to all patients in a professional manner
Participate in the teaching/training program(s)
Communicate with administrators, and Physicians to facilitate practice operations
Participate in team effort to guarantee efficient services to patients
Conforms to the ethical code of conduct of his/her professional organization, to the Wayne Health Corporate Compliance Program and all standards of the Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, and to clinic policies and procedures
Maintains a current professional license, professional liability insurance at limits required by Wayne Health Credentialing as applicable
Attend meetings and training as requested including participation in mandatory annual Wayne Health training in such areas as: recipient rights, confidentiality, corporate compliance, prevention of violence and management of unsafe behaviors, and cultural competence
Participates in professional development activities and keeps current with healthcare trends and practices
Obeys confidentiality as required by all federal, state, regulatory and Wayne Health policies
Perform related duties as assigned
Licensed M.D. or D.O. Board eligible
High level of interpersonal skills, written and verbal, necessary to effectively communicate, establish, and maintain productive working relationships with people inside and outside the Department and/or Practice
Excellent analytical ability necessary to independently identify and resolve extremely complex and unusual problems or discrepancies
Clinical knowledge to meet the medical requirements relating to various procedures
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patients, personnel and/or financial data
Excellent organizational skills to work independently, prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and manage time
Patient management skills necessary to provide quality care
Compliance with Department Health and Safety policies and procedures
40-hour work week, hours and days to be determined by the business need of the department. Additional hours may be required
