A partner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team in Taylorsville, UT. The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree and experience working in an urgent care setting.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care to animals in an urgent care setting.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries requiring immediate attention.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments to stabilize patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure clear communication with clients about their pets' health and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a strong clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care.

 

Qualifications:

  • DVM degree (or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school.
  • Active license in good standing to practice veterinary medicine in Utah (or the ability to obtain licensure).
  • Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
