Key Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care to hospitalized animals.
• Consult with referring veterinarians to provide specialized guidance and treatment recommendations.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Administer medications and other therapeutic interventions.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment plans and updates.

Qualifications:

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• Board certification in critical care medicine is preferred but not mandatory.
• 2+ years of experience in a veterinary critical care setting is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
