A leading veterinary facility in Springfield, OR, is seeking a dedicated Veterinarian Criticalist to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care to hospitalized animals.
- Consult with referring veterinarians to provide specialized guidance and treatment recommendations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Administer medications and other therapeutic interventions.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment plans and updates.
Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent degree required.
- Board certification in critical care medicine is preferred but not mandatory.
- 2+ years of experience in a veterinary critical care setting is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
